Dr Tessa is the newest member to join our Morningside Vet family! Dr Tessa has now come on board as our new Clinical Director.
After graduating from James Cook University in 2018, she moved straight home to help the pets of Brisbane. She is a general practice all-rounder and enjoys soft tissue surgery, preventative medicine, managing chronic medical conditions and wildlife medicine. Her favourite part of being a Vet is seeing the bond people form with their pets, and she hopes she can help enhance and prolong that bond.
At home she has a diabetic cat named Beau. In her spare time she enjoys yoga, painting and spending time in nature.

Sarah
Veterinary Nurse / Practice Manager
Sarah joined our team at the start of 2022 but has been working in the animal industry for many years before coming to us. Before completing her vet nursing studies in 2018, Sarah worked as a zoo keeper and spent many years before that working in a cat & dog boarding kennel. Sarah completed her nursing studies in NSW where she then spent 4 years working in a mixed practice country clinic. We're excited to now have her here in sunny QLD as part of the Morningside team.
Sarah has enjoyed taking on administrative tasks, as well as her nursing role, over the years and this year we're excited to see her step up to her new role of Practice Manager.
Outside of work Sarah enjoys getting crafty completing various DIY projects or curling up with a good book and her 2 beautiful cats, Akira and Tora.
Maggie
Veterinary Technician
Maggie graduated with a Bachelor of Veterinary Technology from UQ in 2019 and since then has been working in general practice. Maggie has had a passion for helping animals as long as she can remember and has always known she wanted a career in the veterinary industry. Maggie claims she doesn't have a preferred area of interest, she considers herself more of an all-rounder, although if she had to pick she said she would choose medicine/hospital nursing. At home Maggie has an adorable cocker spaniel named Flora and two cats - a domestic shorthair named Clancy and a Ragdoll X named Betty.
Outside of work you can find Maggie taking Flora on big walks, spending time with loved ones, reading or decorating her new house.
